2018年2月4日（日）に行います。

「いちご一会」は、子育て中の外国人・日本人パパママ同士の交流・情報交換を目的としています。

今回のテーマは「アメリカでの出産と子育て」

国や人によってさまざまな出産や子育て。アメリカでの出産と子育ては、日本とどんなところが同じでどんなところが違うのでしょうか！？以前アメリカに住んでいたママが自分の経験を紹介してくれます。また参加者同士で自分の出産や子育てもシェアしましょう。たくさんのご参加をお待ちしています。

The 15th Seika Global Network Multicultural Playgroup "Ichigo Ichie" will be held on Sunday, February 4th, 2018.

Ichigo Ichie" is for foreign and Japanese parents to make new friends and exchange information."

The theme of upcoming playgroup is "Let's talk about childbirth and parenting: A case in the US."

Childbirth and parenting are various. What is the same and what is different in the US and Japan? Mom who has lived in the US will introduce her experience. Based on her story, let's share childbirth and parenting episodes among participants! We are looking forward to seeing you！

3-minute walk from Hosono/Shin-Hosono St in Seika-cho. The Cafe is on the 1st floor of the building between Nanto Bank and a condominium apartment near Seika Town Hall. There is no parking lot at the cafe. Please use West Parking lot of Seika Town Hall.

12月3日第14回多文化子育てひろば「いちご一会」開催されました。

１２月３日(日)、Cafeここらくにて、第１４回多文化子育てひろば「いちご一会」が開催されました。

スタッフを含め６８人が集まり、６８人中子供の参加者は２５人でした。
初めての参加の方もたくさん遊びに来てくださり、クリスマスらしい賑やかな雰囲気でした。

出身国の内訳は、オーストラリア、中国、台湾、イギリス、ベトナム、マレーシア、メキシコ、日本でした。

【オージークリスマスの文化】

オーストラリア出身のメグさんとリーチャンさんが〇×クイズでオーストラリアのクリスマスの文化について教えてくれました。

日本と気候が真逆のオーストラリアではクリスマスは真夏。サンタは暖かいブーツやコートではなく、サマースーツ（タンクトップ、半ズボン、ビーチサンダル）を着ているそうです。

ビーチにツリーを飾ってお祝いしたり遊んだり泳いだりします。 オーストラリアの夏は日本と同様とても暑く、首都のあるシドニーの夏の平均気温は２６度、西部の都市パースでは３０度です。しかし１８８８年に４２度の猛暑を記録したこともあるそうです。

日本では若い恋人たちがイルミネーションを見たり等、２４日に盛り上がることが多いですが、オーストラリアでは２５日にお祝いします。
サンタのそりはカンガルーがひくそうです。その国の文化が反映されていて面白いですね。

日本ではクリスマスにフライドチキンや鶏の丸焼きを食べることが多いですが、ターキー（七面鳥）、シーフード、ハム等を食べることが多いとのこと。 ケーキも生クリームにイチゴが乗っている日本のものとは異なり、チェリーやプルーン、レーズン等のドライフルーツやナッツを使った保存のきくケーキ(Christmas pudding)です。

オーストラリアでは１２月中頃から２月頭まで一年で一番長いクリスマス休暇があります。店舗も長めに営業を休むところが多く、サラリーマンも長期の有給を取って旅行をしたりします。

オーストラリアは多文化の国で、人口の約５２％がキリスト教ですがイスラムや仏教、ヒンズー教徒もいて、無宗教の人も３０パーセントいるとのことです。でもクリスマスはみんな祝います。

◆クリスマスの過ごし方

オーストラリアでも日本と同様ライトアップする家が多く、車でドライブしながらどの家が一番綺麗か見て回ります。
 公園で音楽イベントが開催され、ステージ上で歌ったり観客はキャンドルを持って観覧します。
ミサに行く人も多いですし、クリケットの試合が行われるのが恒例とのこと。

家族や親族で集まってランチやディナーをします。七面鳥のお腹に詰め物をする料理や、パンプディング、ローストポーク等を食べます。
食事前にはクラッカーを鳴らしますが、クラッカーは日本のものより少し大きく、帽子やいたずらメッセージが入っているものもあるとのことです。

◆オーストラリアのクリスマスソングを歌おう！

日本でもお馴染みの「ジングルベル」の歌をオーストラリアでの歌詞で歌いました。 夏のクリスマスだということがよくわかる歌詞です。

【参加者の各家庭のクリスマスの過ごし方について】

７～８人程度のグループに分かれて各家庭のクリスマスの過ごし方について話し合いました。

【スペイン語のあいさつ】

メキシコ出身のジョランダ・ゴトウさんがスペイン語のあいさつを教えてくれました。 主なスペイン語の響きはみなさんも耳にしたことがあるのではないでしょうか。
・こんにちは　→　オラー
・ありがとう　→　グラシアス
・さようなら　→　アディオス

【絵本のよみきかせ】

メグさんとチャンリーさんがオーストラリアのクリスマスを背景にした絵本「コアラのクリスマス」を読んでくれました。

クリスマスプレゼントを配る代役をサンタさんから頼まれたコアラさんが友達と協力しながら奮闘する姿を描いた楽しい絵本です。

子供たちが本の周りに集まって真剣に聞いていました。

このお話のバックグラウンドはオーストラリアですが、作者は日本人で日本語で出版されています。チャンリーさんが図書館で借りてくれました。図書館でクリスマスに関連する絵本を探すのも楽しそうですね。

プログラム終了後は、お弁当を食べながら、おしゃべりのひとときを楽しみました。

2017/12/3 Multicultural Playgroup Ichigo-Ichie Report

The 14th Ichigo Ichie took place on December 3.

The day’s theme was “Christmas in Australia”. A lot of families gathered at Café Kokoraku to hear about “Christmas in summer”. We had 68 participants (43 adults and 25 children) from 8 countries –Australia, Mexico, the UK, Taiwan, China, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Japan.

Christmas in Australia

The day’s guest speakers were Meg and Lee Chan. Both of them were from Australia, and were raising their children in Japan. Meg made a presentation in English, and Lee Chan translated it into Japanese.

Aussie Christmas Quiz

First, they gave us “Aussie Christmas Quiz.”
For example, “Santa wears a summer suit in Australia？” The answer was True!
“We eat chicken for Christmas dinner？” The answer was False! “We eat ham, turkey, and seafood.”
We were surprised to know their customs, that there were not in winter Christmas.

Aussie Christmas facts

Next, she told us Aussie Christmas facts, and then showed pictures of Sydney, her hometown, in the Christmas season. She also showed how her family spent Christmas day at home. We were impressed with their Christmas decorations, Christmas food, and so on.

Australian Jingle Bells 

Last, they taught us Australian Jingle Bells!
The words of the song were different from Jingle Bells we know. Jingle Bells begins with, “Dashing through the snow in a one-horse open sleigh …”. But Australian Jingle Bells begins with, “Dashing through the bush in a rusty Holden Ute …” We enjoyed singing the song together.

Greetings in Spanish

Yolanda, a lady from Mexico, introduced Spanish greetings. She has lived in Japan for about 20 years, and spoke Japanese very well. She taught us “Buenos dias” (=Good morning), “Hola” (=Hello), “Gracias” (=Thank you), and so on.

Story Time

Lee Chan read children a Japanese picture book, “Koara no Kurisumasu” (“Koala’s Christmas”). A koala, a kangaroo, a wombat … a lot of Australian animals appeared in the picture book. Children sat around Lee Chan and Meg, and enjoyed the story.

Upcoming meeting

Our Next Ichigo Ichie is to be held at Café Kokoraku on February 4, Sunday.

The theme is “Childbirth and child-raising in the U.S.”. Mrs. Komono, married to an American husband, will talk about her experience in the U.S. How will those be different from those in Japan? We are looking forward to seeing you next time!
